Water Filtration

What Do You Drink?

Is the water we drink safe? Probably not

Water is often purified by added disinfectants that later end up and build up in in our bodies in the form of arsenic, lead cadmium, fluoride or bacteria, yeasts or pathogens.

Long exposure to such chemicals can lead to skin damage, problems with the circulatory system, increased risk of cancer, kidney problems, high blood pressure and other serious health conditions.

Did you know most water contains Chemicals, Bacteria, Small Particles, Pesticides and Viruses that are harmful to your health?

Is the bottled water we drink safe? Probably not

The biggest concerns when it comes to bottled water is BPA (Bisphenol A), a toxic chemical found in plastic, and how it affects normal hormone levels in the body.

Even if BPA were not a cause of worry, the fact that the bottling industry is not strictly regulated, or obliged to mention exact water source on the labels, should be. Some bottled water is sourced from pristine locations, but a huge percentage simply comes from the municipal supply.

More often than not, we choose bottled water because we think that there are no other options, but this solution is very expensive and extremely harmful for the environment. When we opt for bottled water, we continually contribute to the alarming amount of plastic currently found in our oceans and landfills. Only one in every five water bottles is recycled and the manufacture, transport and recycling processes for plastic bottles has hugely negative effects on the environment.

Is the filtered water we drink safe? Mostly, yes

The market today offers a wide range of filters that vary widely in quality, design, efficiency and price. Many systems, although pricey, lack the necessary certification, quality control or safety features that make them truly effective.

Zepter’s Edel Wasser and Aqueena Pro water filtration systems use a unique five-filter system to turn your high mineral content water into clean, pure H₂O. Providing between 76 and 300 liters of clean drinking water daily, it uses a reverse osmosis system, patented by NASA, which can turn any liquid based substance into drinkable water- even ocean water!

Why Reverse Osmosis Is The Best Process For Water Filtration?

Reverse osmosis is a technology that is used to remove contaminants including nitrates, pesticides, sulfates, fluoride, bacteria, pharmaceuticals and arsenic from water by pushing the pressurized water through a semipermeable membrane.

How does reverse osmosis work?

The impurities are filtered out after water pressure pushes water through the RO membrane. What is left, is delicious, clean-tasting drinking water.

AQEENA PRO

  • FIVE-MICRON PP FILTER effectively removes larger particles, like rust and sand, as well as other solid impurities from the water.
  • PELLET CARBON FILTER absorbs chlorine, organic matter, odors, discoloration and other substances.
  • ONE-MICRON PP FILTER removes particles of a smaller size, such as suspended solids and colloids.
  • THE REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE filters bacteria, pathogens, heavy metals such as lead, cadmium and mercury, pesticide residue and nitrate compounds.
  • COCONUT POST-FILTER improves odor and adjusts taste.

EDEL WASSER

  • NEO-SENSE FILTER – This neo-sense filter works to reduce aesthetic chlorine, odor, volatile organic compounds (VOC’s)
  • MEMBRANE FILTER (RO) – Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane filter has the function to reduce water contaminants such as pentavalent arsenic, barium, cadmium, selenium, radium 226/228, trivalent chromium, hexavalent chromium, lead, copper.
  • INNO-SENSE FILTER – The function of the Inno-sense filter is to adjust odors and improve water taste. It also helps to further reduce aesthetic chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOC’s).
  • HYGIENIC FILTER – The Hygienic filter contains silver, which is known to inhibit the propagation of microorganisms and to maintain the integrity of the filter.
